Border Forest Holiday Park – Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings at Border Forest Holiday Park (“the Park,” “we,” “us,” “our”). By making a booking, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms.
1. Bookings & Payment
1.1 A booking is only confirmed once a deposit (as specified at the time of booking) has been received.
1.2 The balance of your holiday must be paid no later than six (6) weeks prior to arrival. If payment is not received, your booking may be cancelled without refund of the deposit.
1.3 Bookings made less than six weeks before arrival must be paid in full at the time of booking.
1.4 The person making the booking must be over 18 years of age and is responsible for the conduct of their party.
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1 Cancellations must be made in writing (by email or letter). The date of cancellation will be the date on which written notification is received.
2.2 If you cancel six (6) weeks or more before arrival, your balance (if paid) will be refunded, less a non-refundable deposit and a £25 administration fee.
2.3 If you cancel less than six (6) weeks before arrival, no refund will be given.
2.4 We strongly recommend that guests take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover unexpected cancellations, illness, or adverse weather.
2.5 In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your booking (e.g. due to circumstances beyond our control), you will be offered either an alternative date or a full refund.
3. Arrivals & Departures
3.1 Check-in times are from 3:00 PM onwards. Check-out is by 10:00 AM on the day of departure.
3.2 Late departures may incur additional charges unless agreed in advance.
4. Use of the Park
4.1 Guests must comply with all Park rules and respect the quiet enjoyment of others.
4.2 Noise should be kept to a minimum, especially between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
4.3 The Park is set in a natural environment; guests must take care of wildlife, trees, and surrounding areas.
4.4 Open fires are not permitted unless in designated areas. Barbecues are allowed if used safely.
5. Pets
5.1 Well-behaved pets are welcome in designated accommodation.
5.2 Pets must be kept under control at all times and on a lead when in communal areas.
5.3 Owners must clean up after their pets immediately.
6. Liability
6.1 The Park accepts no responsibility for loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings during your stay.
6.2 Guests are responsible for any damage caused to property, facilities, or accommodation and will be charged accordingly.
6.3 Use of facilities, including play areas and natural features such as rivers or woodland, is at guests’ own risk.
7. Health & Safety
7.1 Guests must follow any health, safety, or emergency instructions provided by staff.
7.2 Children must be supervised at all times.
7.3 Vehicles must be driven carefully on the Park grounds and within designated speed limits.
8. Termination of Stay
8.1 We reserve the right to refuse admission or terminate a stay without refund if guests fail to comply with these Terms and Conditions or behave in a manner deemed inappropriate, unsafe, or disruptive.
9. Governing Law
9.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
